JAMES CLAUDE JORDAN JR of Plain Dealing,LA, passed away on Saturday October 19,2024 at the age of 62. He was born in Shreveport,LA on October 17,1962. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved to instill his passion onto his kids and grandkids.
He is survived by his wife of 44 years Julie Jordan and 4 children Crystal Barnes,Krickette Jordan, James Lee Jordan and wife Kobie and Brittany Jordan. He has 6 grandchildren Natas Myers and wife Dajah, Burgandie Haynes and husband Reshord, Mark Wimer, Koda Ward, Ashton Jordan and Tatum Jordan. He also has 2 great grandchildren Kruze and Kylan Myers and one more on the way, baby boy Haynes. James is also survived by his siblings Brenda Price, Micheal Jordan and wife Carrie and Jeremey Jordan and wife Terri.He is also survived by an aunt and numerous cousins nieces and nephews .
He is preceded in death by his parents Joyce Jordan and Bud Jordan and numerous aunts and uncles.
James loved to hunt and fish, he also enjoyed spending time watching the same love grow in the heart of his kids,grandkids and nieces and nephews. He also loved a good cold Budweiser and an old Conway Twitty Song playing on the radio. If he wasn't outside mowing the grass he was working on his lawn mower, tractor, weed eater or boat, or you would find him in his chair watching old westerns or listening to the radio. He loved to grill and spent every holiday smoking his "Famous" briskets for his family. James lived a life filled with tons of family and friends who will all cherish tons of memories of him. He touched many people life's and will be greatly missed.
The family would also like to include some of James best friends Jimmy Williams, Cody Robinson, Chad Young, David Arnold, Blake Player, Brett Rich, Steve Clark , Dewey and numerous others.
A memorial service will be held Sunday October 27,2024 at 2 pm at his home in Plain Dealing, La the address is 3854 Old Plain Dealing Road Plain Dealing,La 71064 and everybody is invited to come share with us his celebration of life.
