James Jeffrey Cole, 57, was born on March 23, 1968, in Bentonville, Arkansas, to Dalton and Grace (Hedrick) Cole and he passed away on Friday, April 18, 2025, in Shreveport, Louisiana.

Jeff spent six years in the United States Air Force, stationed at Barksdale AFB.  After the Air Force, Jeff was employed by the Bossier City Police Dept., where he continued to work for 17 years.  Jeff also served as a sniper on the Bossier City Swat Team.  Jeff also was promoted to detective, where he worked as a street crime and juvenile detective.

Jeff's favorite pasttime was watching any sport that involved the Arkansas Razorbacks.  He was an avid Razorback fan!

He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Alma Williams; his mother, Grace Cole; and his brother, Carl Gabbard.

Jeff is survived by his daughter, Ashley Cole; son, James Cole; and granddaughter, Kylee Grace Cole.

He will be buried at the Northwest Veteran's Cemetery in Keithville, Louisiana.
