James "Jimmy" Guggenheim II, 49, of Bossier City, Louisiana, passed away suddenly on June 25, 2023 in Shreveport, LA due to excessive heat.
In his youth, he attended Bossier High School and excelled in sports such as wrestling, track, and football. Jimmy's most recent hobbies included listening to music and cuddling with his dog, Watson. He loved fiercely and would do anything for his family and friends.
Jimmy was predeceased by his parents, James Guggenheim I and Patricia Guggenheim. He is survived by his two children, Breanna Guggenheim and Ari Guggenheim, and his brother, Matthew Guggenheim, in addition to aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Jude Catholic Church 4700 Palmetto Rd., Benton, LA on Saturday, July 8th at 10AM. A visitation will be held from 9AM until the time of the Mass. Officiating the Mass will be Msgr. Matthew Long.
Everyone is invited to join us for a reception honoring the life of Jimmy. The location of the reception will be announced at the time of the Mass. All who knew and loved him are more than welcome to attend.
