James Jay Green

August 18, 1950 – November 4, 2024

Preceded in death by brothers Dwaine, Gale, Dennis and Neal. Survived by his daughter Anna (David) and their children Brendan and Makayla, as well as "granddaughter" Stacia (Bowen) and her children Koda, Tamsin and Allister, and several nieces and nephews.

Jim attended school in the Benson area and was a drill instructor in the Army.  He loved the Huskers, sci-fi, horror movies and books, and his dogs.  He was also an engineer for many years, with the Union Pacific and then New Jersey Transit.

CELEBRATION OF LIFE: Monday, November 25th from 5-9pm at Big Fred's Pizza.  Please wear Husker gear or dress casual.  Some food will be provided.  He will be laid to rest at Prairie Home Cemetery in Diller, NE with his parents and brother Neal at a later date.
