James Edward Boyett, US Army, passed away on December 11, 2020 at the age of 67 in Stonewall, LA. James was born on October 4, 1953 in Shreveport, LA and resided in Stonewall, LA at the time of his death. Funeral services are under the direction of Aulds Funeral Home in Shreveport, LA.

Funeral services will be held 1:00pm,  December 15, 2020 at the Aulds Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Rose Neath Cemetery with Military Honors. Visitation will be held on Monday, December 14, 2020 from 5:30pm to 7:30pm at Aulds Funeral Home in Shreveport, LA.

James joined the Army in December, 1970 and served in the Vietnam Conflict as an Army radio mechanic. James separated from the Army in November, 1977. After leaving the Army, James worked as a body repair technician at Holmes Honda for many years.

James was preceded in death by his parents, Estelle Ebarb and Hubbie Jeff Ebarb, nephew Cody Ebarb, and three siblings: Larry Miller, Kay Jones Ebarb, and Christine Bamburgh. James is survived by three siblings: Wayne (Kim) Ebarb, Kathy Best, and Buddy (Dianne) Ebarb. Left to cherish his memory are his three sons: Christopher Boyett, David (Leslie) Boyett, and Chad (Christy) Boyett. He is also survived by six grandchildren: Carly Boyett, Skylar Belcher, Camry Belcher, Julianna Boyett, Peyton Boyett, and Taylor Boyett. James will also be remembered by numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Dwayne Ebarb, Trevor Ebarb, Jason Humphries, Skylar Belcher, Peyton Boyett, and Taylor Boyett.

The family wishes to thank the doctors and staff at Overton-Brooks VA medical center for the many years of excellent care provided to James.
