James Roger Bobbitt, age 70, of Bossier City, Louisiana, passed away Tuesday, April 8th, 2025, he was born in Hawaii.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Jo Bobbitt and father, William Van Bobbitt; his sisters, Marilyn Powers and Sandra Bobbitt Hughes; brother, William Van Bobbitt (Skipper); and son-in-law, Virgil "Bill" Ellis.

Survived by Sister Rachel Callaway Pittman and Husband James Pittman.  Son Chris Bobbitt and wife Alisha Bobbitt.  Daughters January Bobbitt Ellis and late husband Bill Ellis. Michelle Bobbitt Southworth.  7 Grand children Bailey Bobbitt, Sienna Speas, Evan Speas, Josiah Campbell, Jeremiah Campbell, Jared Campbell, and Aaron Williams.  3 Great grandkids Ozzi Jai Vagel Smith, Mailyn Kae Vagle Smith, and Aspen Lee Stoddard.  And one very best friend Tina Walker, in addition to many nephews and nieces.

A Celebration of Life will be held at noon on Sunday, April 27, 2025 at Bayou Thunder, 1910 Market Street, Shreveport, Louisiana, 71101, hosted by the UMF of NW Louisiana.
