Melvin was born September 1, 1964 and passed away March 8, 2018. Visitation from 5 to 8, officiating the services at 6:30 will be Chester Coffman.
Melvin lived life large with numerous family members and friends. He enjoyed crawfish, coaching T-ball, loved being on the lake, being with family and most of all his daughter, Chelsea.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Cecil Leon Adkison and Marion Lucille Davlin and his stepfather, John Beers, brothers, Bobby and Little Buddy Adkison, sisters, Renee Doyle and Shelia Jo Gillespie.
Survivors include daughter, Chelsea and fiance', Skyi, siblings, Donna, Kathy, Mig, Bryant, Nikki, Dan, Linda Lou, Alan, Joe, Marion Joy, Jo Marie, Micah. Along with numerous nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank everyone that helped and supported us during this time.
