Irene Harriet Cook

September 18, 1933 – March 16, 2025

We are heartbroken to share the passing of Irene Harriet Cook, a loving mother, grandmother, and extended family member, who passed away on March 16, 2025, at the age of 91. Born in Robbins, Illinois, Irene was known for her love for God, her unwavering support, and continuous prayer for her family. She was a true inspiration to her family, often putting their needs before her own. She taught us the importance of kindness and compassion and living a Christian life.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister and brothers, and her husband, William Cook.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her sister, Delores, and her children, Wanda, Konstance, Rodney, Paula, David and Joseph, a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held at the Inglewood Park Cemetery Mortuary on April 14th at 9:00AM.
