A celebration of the life of Hubbie Jefferson Ebarb Jr. (Buddy) will be held on June 14th, 2024, at 2:30-4:30pm at Aulds Funeral Home, 7849 East Kings Highway, Shreveport, Louisiana, 71115

Buddy, as fondly known, was born on June 18th,1955, to Hubbie Jefferson Ebarb Sr. and Doris Ebarb of Shreveport LA.

He was a true son of Shreveport, having always considered it his home despite living in various locations throughout his life.  Buddy was a man of many talents and occupations, but his true passion was truck driving. This profession was very dear to him because he wanted to follow in his father's footsteps.  His journey began in the military, driving a mail truck in Germany. After many trucking jobs, he eventually established his own company in 2019.  His joys in life were simple yet profound-spending time with his family and friends, fishing, hunting, four wheeling & grilling were the light of his life.  Buddy never met a stranger; his kindness saw no limits. If you knew him, you knew he'd help anyone in need and would give the shirt off his back if had to.  He was the most loving husband, father, papaw, brother and uncle.

Buddy was reunited in heaven with his parents, Hubbie J. Ebarb Sr. and Doris Ebarb, his sisters Kay Jones and Christine Bamburg, two children Brandy Ebarb and Patrick Scott, two stepbrothers, Jimmy Boyett & Larry Miller, 1 grandson and 1 great grandson.

He is survived by his wife, Dianna Ebarb; children, Tony LeJeune & his family, Lori Ebarb, Shannon Garland, Tracy Ebarb-Robinson & her family, Jeffery Miller & his family, and Rebecca Ebarb-Bridges and her family.  Numerous grandchildren & great grandchildren. 3 siblings, Wayne Ebarb and his family, Darrell Bolton and his family, and Kathy Best and her family; and a host of nieces and nephews.

He passed away peacefully in his home after a long courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by many loved ones. His memory will forever live in our hearts, and he will be deeply missed.  May he rest in peace 🩵
