Howard *Bruce* Warke was born October 21, 1933 in Ashley Pennsylvania. Bruce entered the gates of Heaven on October 13, 2020, joining his wife, Sybil Jeanette Helms of 38 years; His Father; William John Warke,  Mother; Josephine Bunjo Warke, his brothers & sisters from a very large coal mined family.

Left to honor his memory are his three Sons Bruce Warke & wife Carolyn; William George Warke & wife Donna; Mark Warke & wife Mary, all of Benton La. Four grandchildren; Michael Warke & wife Chandra , Jason Warke & wife Andrea Christopher Warke & wife Kristen, Angela Warke-Ayala & husband Gabriel Ayala; Eight Great grandchildren, Brayden & Baylee Warke, Aiden, Alexandra, Aston, Abram Warke , Annabelle Warke , Amelia Ayala. Many of his neighbors & friends in the Benton  & Bossier Communities.

Howard *Bruce* Warke served his country in the United States Navy. Bruce was known locally as the *cookie man*! Because of his hard work, he won Distributor of the Year while working with Archway Cookies. He loved gardening, his vegetable garden was the envy of the neighborhood, feeding many more than his family, he was always willing to share his abundance with neighbor families, his work friends, even his Council on Aging friends. His fig tree was also a neighborhood treasure, bringing smiles to many a fig lover. Bruce also keep Sybil's roses, and Iris beds beautiful as long as he was able. Bruce loved fishing and deer hunting with his sons, but his favorite was the Elk hunts they shared in Colorado.

A memorial service to honor his memory will be scheduled at a later date. The family wants to thank all our friends & extended family  who have continued to support us emotionally as well as keeping us covered in prayer during this difficult time. A special thank you to the Council on Aging in Bossier and Benton which provided fellowship to our Dad in the later years of his life.
