In 1953 she moved into the home of her two older sisters, Ilene and Marge in Alexandria, Louisiana and lived with them until her marriage in 1964. Her early life was spent working while raising her two children, Katherine and James. She loved her family and was extremely proud of all her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Hazel was a devoted Christian lady who had the God given gift for making all who knew her feel special and loved. She had the most beautiful smile which she used quite often. Her grandchildren all knew her as "MawMaw" and I'm sure will never forget her love for them all. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
