Harvey Lee Fulgium, a loving husband and father, passed away on June 30, 2024, at the age of 77 in Mooringsport, Louisiana, Caddo Parish. Born on September 29, 1946, in Fouke, Arkansas, Harvey was known for his deep love for his family and friends, and his remarkable skills as a master mechanic and auto body repairman.

Harvey proudly served in the Navy, where he was respected for his dedication and skill. His military service was a significant chapter in his life, reflecting his commitment and discipline, qualities that he carried into his civilian life.

In addition to his love for mechanics, Harvey had a passion for aviation, often seen flying his yellow tail dragger plane. He was also a familiar face at Boothill Speedway, where his love for car racing shone brightly. Furthermore, Harvey found relaxation and joy in fishing, a hobby that allowed him quiet moments of reflection and enjoyment of nature.

Harvey leaves behind a loving family who will miss him dearly, including his brothers Gene Fulgium and wife Rosemarie, Ronnie Fulgium, Donnie Fulgium and wife Deloris, his daughter Melody Fulgium,

Rose Hebert, Ricky Buras, Rusty Buras, and David Burgess. His grandchildren Nathan, Connor, Madison Graval, Skyler Whitney, Kristi Blair and husband Anthony, Shaun Hebert and wife, Lindsey, Nathan Hebert, Brittany Buras, Tosha, Jeremiah, and Scott Burgess, along with his great-grandchildren Jayden, Kynlee Graval, Theodore Drew, Danielle, and Anthony Blair II, Kayden Burgess will cherish his memory and legacy.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Rose Fulgium, his parents Kathrine and Edward Fulgium, his brothers Cordell and Jerry Fulgium, sister Mary Fay Easley, son-in-law Brad Hebert, and granddaughter Jessica Buras.

A service to honor Harvey's life will be held on July 13, 2024, at Aulds Funeral Home, located at 7849 East Kings Highway, Shreveport, LA 71115. His life and contributions will be remembered and celebrated by all who knew him. The family will be receiving friends and family at 1409 Pecan St, Texarkana, AR 71854, only on Friday, July 12th and Saturday 13th after services. After these dates refer to Mr. Fulgium's home.
