Harry Walter Swank, 77, of Bossier City, Louisiana, died August 19, 2021.
Mr. Swank was born September 7, 1943.
He was survived by his beloved wife, Jackie, of 58 years, and two daughters: Karmann Swank and Niki (Nicole) Swank. A sister, Debra Pace of Joplan, Missouri.
He was preceded in death by his parents. Harry Walter, Jr. and Martha Agler of Columbus, Ohio.
He grew up in Columbus, Ohio, and after high school he entered the Air Force. It was during his military service at Barksdale Air Force Base where he met the love of his life, Jackie in 1963. Six months after meeting Jackie they eloped and were married in Texarkana, Arkansas on January 29, 1963.
Harry excelled in sales. Early in his career, he was a Sales Manager for JCPenney that relocated them to several different states. Where he made his mark was with Skyline Mobile Homes as an Assistant Manager for 25 years. He was elected President of the Optimist Club and a member for over 20 years. He was a vital part of his wifes' support system, allowing her to achieve great heights as a Senior National Sales Director in Mary Kay Cosmetics.
In his spare time, he was a coach for his daughters, Karmann and Niki, softball team. He was an avid tennis player and loved golfing.
He was an active member of his church, Northpoint Community Church. He, along with several friends, started a small group in 2004, and it has grown into the largest single group in the church. Harry loved people and served his church and community. He served on the Benevolence Fund Committee and the leadership planning team for the Adult Bible Study Group. His humor and wit will be sorely missed.

Arrangements are with the Aulds Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at North Point Community Church, 4204 Airline Drive, Bossier City, Louisiana 71111 on Saturday, August 21, 2021. Visitation begins at 10am CT and funeral service at 11am CT. Committal Service will immediately follow located at Forest Park West Cemetary 4000 Meriwether Road, Shreveport, Louisiana 71109.
The family asks in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Benevolence Fund at Northpoint Community Church located at 4204 Airline Drive Bossier City, Louisiana 71111.
