Obituary

Stonewall, LA - Services celebrating the life of Harold Wayne Procell will be held Monday, March 23 at Aulds Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 5:00 until 6:30 with a rosary and vigil to follow. Harold was born on February 26, 1933, in Noble, Louisiana and was called home March 18, 2015. He was preceded in death by his parents Steve and Frances, two brothers Melvin and Julius, four sisters Rita Coleman, Phoebe Cole, Mary Shanks, Maggie Graves, and loving grand-son Brad Spencer. Left to cherish his memory is his beloved wife Katherine, two sisters Evelyn Trussell and Angie Davidson, two daughters Cindy Adrian and Jeanine Curley, two sons Mark Venegoni and Mike Venegoni, six granddaughters Lauren Aiello, Gabrielle Aiello, Julia Aiello, Jessica Venegoni, Jill Keegan, Whitney Licavoli, and two grandsons Jordan Venegoni and Matt Spencer, six great-grandchildren, and numerous loving nieces and nephews and special friend Jay Barton. Harold worked his entire life in retail sales never meeting a stranger and making life-long friends along the way. Just prior to retirement, he fulfilled his Christian obligations by becoming a passionate and energetic volunteer in the Knights of Columbus. He was a Grand Knight on the St. John Berchmans Council and achieved the rank of Navigator of the Bishop Desmond Assem-bly while also serving as a member of the Honor Guard. Few have ever served more honorably and contributed more on both the Assembly and Council. He especially cherished the camarade-rie and fellowship of his friends in the monthly "KC Breakfust Klub." We would like to give a special thanks to Dr. Jerome Danzell and his nurse Gail and Dr. Wen Liu for the many years of compassion and care that they have given to Harold and his family. The loving grace and special kindness which Harold lived his life are permanent living examples to all of us left behind and are reflected always in the lives of the people he touched. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Knights of Columbus or the charity of your choice in memory of Harold.
