Harold Johnston Dumas, Jr. age, 74, passed away at his home, Thursday May 19, 2022 after a lengthy illness.

Mr. Dumas was born February 9, 1948 in Shreveport, LA to parents Harold J. Dumas, Sr. and Francine (Turner) Dumas.

He attended Woodlawn High School where he played basketball and football. He would often tell stories of basketball and football and Terry Bradshaw played when he was there. He married his high school sweetheart Nancy Dumas, and they were married 55 years last May. He loved watching movies especially the Harry Potter series. His favorite movie was Independence Day. We could all quote lines from that movie. He enjoyed animals and especially the birds and squirrels at his home. He loved gardening as well.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Francine Dumas, and one brother Jimmy Dumas and one sister Mary Dumas.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Nancy Dumas; 3 sons, Harold  III, Devin, and Brady; 1 granddaughter, Victoria Kate Smith:

2 great-grandchildren, Adaline Kate Smith and Gunner Blaine Smith: and a host of friends. He will be missed by all that knew him.

Visitation for Mr. Dumas will be held 3 P.M. to 6 P.M. Sunday May 22, 2022 at the Aulds Funeral Home Chapel, 7849 E. Kings Hwy, Shreveport, LA 71115. Graveside services will be held at 1 P.M. Monday May 23, 2022 at the Centuries Memorial Park, 8801 Mansfield Rd. Shreveport, LA 71108
