Gregory John Hackett, 72, of Pontiac, Michigan, passed away on September 1st,2025 of congestive heart failure surrounded by his daughter & granddaughters. He was born on June 22, 1952, in Michigan, to Robert and Joan Hackett, & grandparents Harold & Florine Hackett who joyfully welcomed him home in Heaven. His loyal dog, "Hey," was always at his side, a faithful companion through the years.He was a lover of tattoos & coffee. He always said, "I want two coffees, two creams, two sugars"

He is survived by his children: Daughter Margo Lauren Hackett & sons Travis Hackett and Matthew Chizmar. He was a grandfather to Micenzie, Trinity, Trui, Hadley, Abigail, and Brice. Gregory also leaves behind his dear siblings Lisa, Karen, and Cindy. .

A funeral service will be held at  Aulds Funeral Home on 10am September 5th at 7849 East Kings Hwy, Shreveport La, 71115 with interment to follow.
