Services and burial for Grady Singer will be @ 10:30 am Wednesday, June 10, 2026 at the Northwest Louisiana Veterans Cemetery, 7970 Mike Clark Road, Keithville, LA 71047 at the pavilion. Honoring him will be the Patriot Guard Riders and the Navy Honor Guard.

Grady was born March 1, 1942 in Shreveport, Louisiana to Mac Roe Singer and Mary Lizer Adams. He passed away October 9, 2023 at the age of 81.

Grady recruited into the Navy March 1959 in Raleigh, NC just turning 17 years old 29 days before. On March 31, 1959 he was received for recruit training in San Diego, CA at the United States Naval Training Center as Company 59-159. After training he reported for duty at Naval Air Station Whidbey Island in Oak Harbor, WA until February 1963. He was with the Heavy Attack Squadron Four and during his service he was aboard the USS Ticonderoga and the USS Oriskany CVA-34 for which both ships received numerous awards and merits for their service in the Vietnam War. During his time served he received numerous awards and certificates including his GED and lastly initiated into the Fraternal Ancient and Sacred Order of the Golden Dragon.

Grady is preceded in death by his parents, three sisters Clara, Gladys, and Bertha, two aunts Irene and Alice Adams, and an uncle Jim E. Adams Sr.
