Glenda Lee McCraw

Surrounded by loved ones, Glenda Lee McCraw, 75, passed away January 17th, 2023 after a brief illness. Glenda was born to Glen & Wilma Gilbert March 13, 1947. Glenda spent her career as a real estate agent and later as an instructor at Bossier Parish Community College. She also mentored newly licensed agents with Diamond Real Estate who were referred to as her "Diamonds". She had a true passion for teaching which was inherited from her mother who also taught English in the area for years. Glenda was an avid LSU and Saints fan and often enjoyed armchair quarter backing with her brother Mike. Glenda was an excellent cook, and her Christmas seafood gumbo will be sorely missed. Glenda was preceded in death by her father Glen Gilbert, mother Wilma Gilbert and brother Timothy Gilbert. She is survived by husband Jim Thornhill, sons Phillip Kuperman and wife Bailey, Alan Kuperman, brother Mike Gilbert and wife Margaret and grandchildren Bryan Kuperman, Emily Kuperman and Stevie Kuperman. The family wishes to express their gratitude to the staff at Ochsners Emergency Room & MICU unit for their excellent care and compassion shown to Glenda and family. There will be a visitation at Aulds Funeral Home located on 7849 East Kings Hwy. January 25th from 5-7
