IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Glenda Fay
Frith
September 8, 1975 – May 15, 2022
Glenda Fay Frith, 46, also known as "GiGi" to her loved ones, passed away peacefully at her home in Bossier City, La. on the morning of May 15, 2022. She was born on September 8, 1975 in West Monroe, La. to Glenn Ray Frith Sr. and Cassandra Joy Frith. She had 3 siblings, 2 older sisters and 1 younger brother.
Glenda graduated from Southwood High School in Shreveport, Louisiana in 1994. After High School, she worked at a car auction and quickly worked her way up to supervisor. After years there she held a few different positions that she always worked her hardest at. It wouldn't take long for her co-workers to fall in love with her. Glenda continued to work even after her heart surgery at age 35 and did so up until the day she couldn't walk on her own anymore and her health problems became too much for her.
The thing that made Glenda the most happy at any time was music. She would sit for hours at a time playing different songs from all different times and genres. She practically knew every song, every band name and every band member. She was the happiest when she was front row at a concert of one of her favorite bands.
Glenda also love poetry. At one point she had notebooks and notebooks of poetry that she found online that she liked or poems and quotes that she wrote herself.
And we can't forget Zander, her special puppy that brought so much happiness and love to her life.
Glenda loved her family. Her two boys were everything to her. She was so proud to be their mother. She was a great mother, daughter, sister and friend.
Glenda was funny, hilarious at times, Goofy, strong-willed. She was sharp. She was caring, loving and compassionate. Glenda was unique.
Glenda is survived by son Michael Anthony "Tony" Halverson; son Colby Glenn Halverson and girlfriend Michalann Mrozek; sister Sandra Dean and husband Joey; brother Glenn Frith and wife Brittany; nieces Cassie Roberts Gidman, Josie Nichelle Roberts and fiancee Joe Delia, Kylie Roberts Villegas and husband Alex, Jordy Dean, Heather Frith, Holly Frith, Taylor Huff, step nieces Chelsea Dean Guess and husband Chad, and Megan Ebarb Procell and husband Billy; nephew Jimmy Travis Huff; great nieces Quinn Gidman, Lillie Guess; great-nephews Leo Gidman, Elliot Gidman, Ezra Villegas, Court Guess, Abram guess, James Procell and Bryce Procell.
