Gery Lee Schweitzer was born June 27, 1952 in Mobile, Alabama and entered into Heaven on April 17, 2018 after a sudden illness. Gery is preceded in death by his father, Jerome Schweitzer and daughter Stephanie Ann Schweitzer.  He is survived by his son Stephen Schweitzer and wife Michelle, son Joshua Schweitzer and girlfriend Mandy, mother Joanne Schweitzer, sister Patty Sykes, sister Kathy Matlock, grandchildren Hailey Vidale, Blake Vidale, Mason Schweitzer, River and Gage Bonette, very special friend and mother of his three children, Paula Kay O'Con and husband Dennis, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Gery "BUD" to those who really knew him for the kind hearted man he truly was, retired as a master mechanic from Fletcher's Automotive after more than 40 years of loyal service.  He was also a veteran of the United States Air Force.

"BUD" has his own way of things, but if you ever needed him he was only a call away…"NEVER COULD SAY NO".

Services will be held at Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Keithville on Wednesday, April 24, 2018 at 11:00am.

He will be greatly missed and loved and cherished forever.  Going to miss that laugh but forever in our memories.
