Gary Paul White, age 73, son of the late Woodrow White and Faye LeVassuer White,  passed away September 24, 2024 at his residence surrounded by his loving family.  His plan, for years,  was to donate his body to LSU School of Medicine for study, but in the end it was deemed he was not a candidate for donation.   His body will be cremated.  There will be no service, as he wished.

Gary graduated from Fair Park High School, Class of 1971.   He was drafted into the Army and served in Vietnam.  After his discharge he entered the work force as a machinest, retiring from General Electric.  He was not only a machinest, but could do pretty much anything.  Work on cars, do plumbing, some electrical, build things.   He was an avid hunter and fisherman.  He loved being in the woods or on a lake.   He enjoyed working local gunshows and going to Flea Markets.  He liked buying and selling.  Gary would help any and everyone, never wanting anything in return.   He was always the life of any party.   He would keep everyone laughing.  To say he will be missed is an understatement.  He was loved by all.

Gary was a  member of the American Legion, Post 14.  A past member of The Ark-La-Tex Gun Collectors Association.  He also taught Louisiana Hunters Education Classes.

Gary is preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn "Sue" Duncan and his parents.

He is survived by his children, Sons, Wardale "Dale" White and wife Stacy, Robert White and wife Beth, Tim White and wife Tamela, John White and wife Mary and Daughter, Constance "Connie" White.

Brothers,  Michael K. White and wife Emma, Gerald White and wife Patrice, David "Arnie" White and sister, Carla White Thomas.

Grandchildren, Monica White, Ellen Chenault and husband Charlie,  Tori Chenault and husband John, Tiffany White, Juelianne Kiper and husband Zach, Mary White, Hunter White, Seth Lee, Emily White and Susie Marie White

Great Grandchildren, Aurora, Titan,  Ember, John, Evelyn, Scarlett, Mr. Paul, and Braxton.
