Gary William, the son of Jesse and Marie Moak Cloud was born on December 30,1948 in Natchitoches, Louisiana. He passed away on Saturday, December 16, 2023 in Shreveport, Louisiana.

He is survived by wife Janice Van Dame Cloud and daughters, Jaime Cloud, and her husband Joseph McGill, and Marcie Cloud Brown and her husband, Jonathan Brown.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sisters Betty Cloud Williams and Mercille Cloud Perritt.

Gary graduated from Goldonna High School in 1966. He enrolled in the US Army serving in Vietnam as a Medic. He attended Northwestern State University where he met his wife, Janice, in 1971. He received his Bachelors in Nursing from NSU and then certification in Nurse Anesthesia. Gary loved his 35 years as a Nurse Anesthetist working at LSU Health, Bossier Medical Center, and Willis-Knighton Bossier during his career. He had a passion for gunsmithing and annual hunting trips with friends. He was also a lifetime member of the National Rifle Association and various wildlife organizations. He also enjoyed fishing and traveling the country with Janice. Gary will always be remembered by friends and family for his kindness and generosity.
