Garland Joseph Prudhomme Jr.

72 y/o of Homer, LA. Born November 29, 1951, in Orange, TX. Garland was known for his love of his family, community, long-haul truck driving, being a Volunteer Fire Fighter, Hunting, fishing, as well as his fur- babies.

He went to meet our Lord on October 12, 2023, after a lengthy battle with Cancer. Garland was survived by his lifelong partner of 37 years, Linda Gourgues.  Brothers, Robert, Stephen (Wife Kelly), James Prudhomme (Wife Christan), and David Dennie. Sisters, Linda Hemsley, Fannie Dean (Husband Jason), and Mary Procell. Sons, Chad & Paul.

Grandson, Ronald Spiers (wife Cindi). Granddaughter, Ashley Spiers.

Numerous, nephews, nieces, great nephews, and great nieces, as well as Brother and Sister In laws.

He is preceded in death by:

Father, Garland Prudhomme Sr., Mother Helen Triplet Prudhomme,

Brothers, Gordan and Gary Prudhomme, Sister Cornelia Atkins (Ann).

Services will be at Aulds Funeral Home at 11 AM, on Sunday 10/22/2023. Address: 7849 E. Kings Hwy. Shreveport, LA.

There after Graveside will be held at Saint Francois Cemetery on Friendship Rd., Frierson, LA 71027
