Garland Grant III, age 60, passed away on April 12, 2025, in Blanchard, Louisiana. Born on February 14, 1965, in Dallas, TX.  Garland lived a life marked by dedication to his family and hard work.

Garland built his career as a truck driver, a profession that reflected his strong work ethic and commitment. He was known by those close to him as a funny, loving, devoted husband and father, qualities that left a lasting impression on everyone he met.

He is lovingly remembered by his wife, Stella Grant; his mother, Pat Farrar; his father, Garland Grant Jr.; one sister; three brothers; four daughters; and nine grandchildren. His presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

A memorial service to honor Garland's life will be held on May 2, 2025, from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. at Blanchard Church of the Nazarene, located at 251 N. Main St., Shreveport, LA 71107.
