Gale Ann Hawkins, born November 30,1957 in Chickasha, Oklahoma.   A long-time resident of Shreveport, she passed away at home in her sleep on Wednesday December 4, 2019.  Gale enjoyed camping, fishing, hosting family and friends, antiquing, working in her garden, and spending time with her faithful dog Minion.  She was genuinely kind and caring, always making sure there was plenty of food and everyone felt welcome, friends, family, and newcomers as well.  Though her passing has left a great void in the family, whom she loved very much, we know she is rejoicing with the Lord in Heaven.  Gale is predeceased by her parents Linn and Tommie Richardson.   She leaves to cherish her memory, husband Charles Peter "Pete" Hawkins; sons David I Hawkins and wife, Theresa S Hawkins, Paul W Hawkins, and Christopher J Hawkins; grandchildren Corey L Hawkins, Amber N Hawkins, Ashlyn Hawkins, and Kyle Hawkins.   Gale is also survived by her siblings Thomas Richardson and Larry Richardson.   Please join the family for a memorial service at 10:00 am on Monday December 9, 2019, at Aulds Funeral Home.
