Fredrick Eugene Corbitt, Jr., age 62, known as the quite but fun loving "Fred", passed away Thursday, December 14, 2017. He was born March 23, 1955 in Altoona, PA. He was retired from Land O'Lakes in Shreveport, LA and he called Doyline, LA home.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Fredrick Eugene "Gene" Corbitt, Sr. and Beverly Arlene Corbitt of Doyline, LA; Grandsons, Tyler, Joshua, Jacob, and Jared Lutman of Little Rock, AR.

Surviving are his wife of forty years Tressa "Marie" Corbitt of Doyline, LA; Daughter, Patricia Burchell and son in law Brad Burchell of Keithville, LA; Grandson, Zachary Lutman of Doyline; Granddaughter Abigail "Abby" Lutman of Keithville, LA; Daughter, Lovena Thore and son in law Matt Thore of North Chesterfield, VA; Grandsons, Jacob, Tyler, Gage, Wyatt, Xander, and Kai Thore of North Chesterfield, VA;  sister Patty Yorba and brother in law Randy of Benton, La, Sister Carol Sanders of Ringold, LA, Brother Joe Corbitt and sister in law Susan of Doyline, La, Brother Tracy Corbitt and sister and law Jodi of Creston, Iowa.
