Fred L. Driggers, age 63, passed away December 13, 2017 in Shreveport, Louisiana. He was born on May 23, 1954 in Ringgold, Louisiana to Fred Lee and Geneva Driggers. Fred was quite the character who enjoyed making people laugh. He also loved spending time with family, friends, and his dogs. He was a truck driver for many years, and also served as a security guard for the local library. Fred was excited as he is to become a great-grandfather in January.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Michael Driggers; nephew, Lovic Waters;

He is survived by his loving wife, Sandra Driggers; Sons, Brian Driggers (Ricci), Brad Driggers (Dawn), Steven Dewald (Sandy); Daughters, Penny Driggers, and Tara McNaughton; Sisters, Wanda Parks and Freda Guthrie; Brothers, Mark Driggers, and Marty Driggers; Grandsons, Dalton, Steven, Peyton, Jacoby, Lance, Gavin, and Brandon; Granddaughters, Abigail, and Gabriella; one future great-grandson, and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

A memorial service will be held at Summer Grove United Methodist Church (9119 Dean Road Shreveport) on Saturday, December 16, 2017 at 4pm. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Fred's honor to the American Diabetes Association.
