Francis Xavier Howard was born September 12, 1944, in Shreveport, LA. He died June 20, 2022, after a long illness. His parents were Otto D. and Rosa Lee LeVasseur Howard. Francis attended school at St. Vincent's Academy and St. John's High School. He graduated from Louisiana Tech with a degree in engineering. After graduation he served in the Army from 1968 with a tour duty in Vietnam. After serving in the army, he worked for Bewleys until retirement. He was a kind soul who helped anyone in need. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Bubba, Ernest and Gerry and also his sister, Theresa Howard Lefevre. He is survived by his sisters Rose Marie Black and Madeline Elford. Special thanks to Msgr. Earl Povenza.
