Floyd Carlton Johnson, age 77, of Shreveport, Louisiana, passed away at Christus Highland Hospital on Dec. 13th, 2020. He was a beloved minister of the gospel at Huntington Park Church of Christ, where he served the community for over 40 years. He spent his summers inspiring and leading youth at Pettijohn Springs Christian Camp in Madill, Oklahoma as a camp director. His life was an example of true love and humility, and has inspired countless others towards the light of God.

He is survived by his loving church community; two daughters, Jill Kliewer and her husband Tommy, Tracy Thurman and her husband Neal; one son, Thomas Johnson; four grandchildren: Paisley Kliewer, Andrew Thurman and his wife Kaylah, Paxton Kliewer, and Spencer Thurman; as well as many brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews. Mr. Johnson is also survived by one brother, David Johnson and his wife Linda. He was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd and Eudean Johnson, and his faithful, beautiful wife, Montie Louise Johnson.
