Shreveport, LA - Evelyn Upshaw, age 83, passed away August 12, 2013. She was born in Shreveport, LA on April 15, 1930. She was a licensed beautician and manicurist. She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Susie Smith, and brothers Ted and Bobby Smith. She is survived by her son, Richard Upshaw; sisters Melba Lorance, Reba Martin, and Mary Cherry; 2 grandchildren, Richard Jr. and Crystal; 4 great grandchildren, Summer, Cameron , Ethan, and Ra'nya. Funeral services will be held 10 AM Tuesday August 20, 2013, at the Aulds Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. James McMenis officiating.
