Evelyn Spears Hudson, 87, passed away July 21, 2020. She was born on May 2, 1933 to Grayson and Lillian Spears. She loved spending time with her husband LeRoy Hudson and her large family. She loved her church and her church family. She also enjoyed shopping "Especially Garage Sales" and playing dominoes. She was a great wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great great grandmother.

Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband James E. Barmore; mother and father; brothers and sisters Jake Spears, El Spears, Ted Spears, Opal Spears, Flo Keech, and Barbra Robertson.

Evelyn is survived by her husband LeRoy Hudson; children Leona Audleman & Johnnie, Jackie Dison & Ronnie, Calvin Barmore, Prentice Barmore and Teri, Randy Barmore and Sheila, Hardy Barmore; stepdaughter Patricia Perry & Bob; 17 grandchildren, 37 great grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren that all love her dearly; brothers Paul Spears & Gwenette, Jerry Spears & Donna, Donny Spears & Fran.

Visitation will be held beginning at 10am Friday, July 24, 2020 at Blanchard Church of Christ (117 Williams Street, Shreveport, Louisiana 71107) with the funeral service to start at 11am. Officiating will be Minister Sean Embree. Graveside services will follow at 3pm at Mineral Spring Cemetery , LA-822 Dubach, LA 71235.
