Eusebio (Steve) Arellano "JR"

November 9, 1967 – October 21, 2018

Steve was born November 9, 1967 to Eusebio and Ruth Arellano in Espanola, NM. As a child and young adult he lived in Bloomfield, NM and Farmington, NM. He stayed in New Mexico where he met his first wife Cheri and had their two children. He worked different jobs and in 1996 he started with the Schlumberger oil company where he worked for 23 years.

In 2010, Steve was transferred to Williston, ND and in 2013, he met Rachel and her children.

Steve and Rachel married on February 28, 2014 in Williston. He told her to "get ready for an adventure" and what an adventure they had! In 2015, they moved to Denton, TX and almost two years later in 2017 they moved to Bossier City, LA.

Steve celebrated his 23 ^rd year with Schlumberger on September 9, 2018. His dreams of retiring and opening a Mexican restaurant was on his mind.

Steve is preceded in death by his mother Ruth Sarah Arellano (1989). He is survived by his wife Rachel Arellano (Dorian Rae, Naryan, Joshua); father Eusebio Arellano (Rita); son Steve Arellano (Adrianna, Steven Jr.); daughter Kayla Ignacio (Weet); sisters Verna (Sam) Gonzales, Sally (Mike) Martinez, Jessica King; brother Andrew Arellano, and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

A funeral service will be held on November 10, 2018 in Farmington, NM at St. Mary's Catholic Church at 11:00am. A private interment will take place in Espanola, NM.
