Ernest Roy Sink, Jr, "Papaw" was born March 3, 1933 in Birmingham, AL and passed away peacefully at home September 14,2017.  He was 85 years old.  He was a veteran of the United States Army and was retired from Ark-La Gas.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest Roy, Sr. and Verna Mae Sink, one sister Joyce Smelser and his beloved wife of over 50 years Norma Sue Sink.

He leaves behind his sister, Jean Sink Galloway, an adoring family of seven children, nine grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, one great great grandchild, and numerous nieces and nephews.

He enjoyed woodworking and fixing anything, he rebuilt houses and built swings and loved tending to his garden and flowers.

A graveside service will be Saturday, September 16, 2017 at Forrest Park Cemetary at 11:00 am with Mr. Sink's nephew, Sid Galloway, Jr. presiding. The family wishes to thank Regional Hospice and his caregivers.
