Obituary

Elray Woods was born March 10, 1952, to Alma and Archie Woods, he is the baby boy to eight siblings: Jack, Bud, Ann, Johnny, Betty Joyce, Jimmy, Martha Ann, and Pixie (being the real caboose).

His mother, father, and siblings (Bud, Ann, Johnny, Betty Joyce, Jimmy, Martha Ann, and Pixie) preceded him.

He is survived by his oldest sister, Jack, and his six children, Ray, and one son, Zachary; Alicia, and her three children, Logan, Kaitlyn, and Carson; Ceri (Eric) and their two children, Tristan and Viola; E.J. (Dawn) and their three children Jade', Asher, and Avery; Paula (Robbie) and their five children, Leah, Gregory, Lexi, Mary Grace, and Annie; Shae (Joey) and their are five children, Britta, Brooke, Emily, Karrie, and Little Joe and many great grandkids along with multiple nieces and nephews. He was a small business owner of WE&G Construction, project manager at Danis Construction, and retired welder. He was a lifelong hunter and fisherman who participated in countless bass tournaments. Dad loved to be on the water fishing, and he loved to rodeo. He never met a stranger and always helped a friend in need. He will be missed but forever be loved.

A celebration of life will be held at "The Old Homeplace" on Black Lake, where he was raised. 218 Archie Woods Rd. Campti, La 71411, on March 8th at 3 p.m. All friends and family are welcome to celebrate Dad's life.
