Ellis E. Haynes was born on December 21,1948 to Cecil E. Haynes and Clotile I. Haynes in Shreveport LA. Raised up in Bossier City , LA he was drafted in the war back in 1968 and served shortly then was Honorably Medical discharged. Ellis became a machinist later on in life. He enjoyed going fishing, cooking, and watching Saints and Lsu games.

Ellis is proceeded in death by his wife of 16 years Susan A. "Weems" Haynes, Mother, Clotile I. Wells, Father, Cecil E. Haynes, sisters Cecile Humphrey and Anna Mae "Sherwood" Haynes, and grandparents and aunts and uncles.

Left to cherish his memory is his daughter Rebecca "Garza" Haynes, sons: Ellis E. HAYNES Jr, Robert E. Haynes and wife Jessica; grandchildren: Alyshia M. Garza, Samantha N. Garza, Zachary B. Garza, Tabitha R. Haynes, Torie Whorton and husband Triston, Tiffany Haynes, Joshua Hayes; great grandchildren: Jojo and Titus Whorton.

Family would like to thank all the doctors and nurses and staff at Christus Highland and Christus Hospice for such great care delivered to Ellis and his loved ones throughout such a hard time.
