IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Elizabeth Corrine
"Liz" Clark
May 17, 1948 – June 27, 2024
Elizabeth Corrine "Liz" Clark was born on May 17, 1948, to Clarence and Florence Baker. She was restored and entered into eternal rest on June 27, 2024.
Liz graduated from Saline High School, where she was known as "Corrine" by family and friends. The "roller rink" in Saline is where she met her husband, William Alfred "Bill" Clark, and they were married June 7, 1968. The two of them later moved to Shreveport, LA, and started working at AT&T. This is also where she took on the name "Liz".
When she wasn't riding motorcycles with Bill and friends, their home at 3014 Nona Cir was always open, and the coffee was always hot.
Although she never had any children of her own, she had a lot of kids. One of her most cherished achievements in life was being "Aunt Tiz."
Liz loved life! Whether she was camping and fishing, traveling to beaches and mountains, or bowling and shooting pool, she was always smiling and having fun. She also loved her family and enjoyed cooking and baking for gatherings. Liz was always valued in her career as an accounting specialist before retiring.
Liz is preceded in death by her parents Clarence and Florence Baker; husband Bill Clark; sister Kathryn Gaines; brothers Benny, Harvey, and George Baker; sisters-in-law Gertie and Becky Baker.
Liz leaves behind brothers, Charles Baker of Saline, LA; Bobby Baker and wife Mary of Stonewall, LA; sisters Ida Faye Stevens and husband Michael of Purcell, OK; Joyce Cordell of Denham Springs, LA; and an abundance of nieces and nephews.
Honoring her legacy are nieces Erika Rawls and husband Brian of Bossier City, LA; Beth Mabry of Bossier City, LA; nephew Chas Baker and wife Anna of Shreveport, LA; great-nieces Rachael Squire, Haley Wise, Shelby Ewing, and Daisie Mabry; great nephew Nathan Baker.
Beth and the family would like to express special thanks to the nurses and staff of Heritage Manor South, Lifepath Hospice, and honorary niece, Kaitlyn Excline, for their kindness and wonderful care.
