Edward Timothy Scott, a loving husband and father, a resident of Shreveport, LA, passed away unexpectedly, joining our loved ones and our father in heaven, on February 8, 2017 at the age of 56. Tim is survived by his wife, Louise Gay Scott; his daughter, Megan Louise Scott (Caleb Cooper); Aunt Melba Dean Vosburg (James); Sister in-law Rosemary Harper (Ronnie); Nieces Tracie Crissno (Neil), Dawn Chapman (Ron), Tammie Owens, Jenifer Kindley; Nephew JC Phillips; and 4 great nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his brothers, Johnny Owens, and Jimmie Kindley, as well as his parents, and his grandson, Alexander Cooper. Tim was born in New Orleans on July 31, 1960 to Mattie Odell Scott and Edward Ivy Scott. He grew up in Mer Rouge and was a graduate from Delta High School, and Northwestern State University. On June 25, 1983, he married Louise, love of his life, who he met in college. On April 20, 1992, he welcomed his beautiful daughter Megan, who became one of the most important parts of his life. Tim was a hard working man, he spent most of his years working as a manager at restaraunts. A cancer surviver, who still supported his family even through his times of health problems. He was humble, and he gave everything he could to provide for and support his wife and family. Tim was man of integrity and respect, with strong traditional family values. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him. A funeral service is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. on February 16 at the First United Methodist Church in the Couch Chapel, in Shreveport, LA. Dr. Will K Andress will officiate
