Edward A. Fitch of Shreveport, Louisiana passed away on March 10, 2022 at the age of 86 from complications of pulmonary fibrosis.  He is survived by his wife, Martha, his son, Doug, his daughter, Debbie Hunter, grandsons , Brandon and wife Morgan, Denver and wife Patti, Kyle Hunter and wife Chelsea, and great-grandsons, Truett Fitch and Orion Hunter.  He is also survived by his sisters, Alice Roeling Fitch and Peggy Witherspoon.

Ed was a long-time resident of Shreveport, a very active member of First Presbyterian Church, and a devoted family man.  He retired as the Administrator of Caddo Shreveport Sales & Use Tax Commission some years ago.  He lived for his dear sweetheart, Martha, and his church and choir.  He was loved by many and will be greatly missed.

Ed's only concern in his last days was the safety and well-being of his one and only sweetheart, Martha.  Per Ed's request, a family service will be held at the Memorial Garden at First Presbyterian Church.  In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to First Presbyterian Church and the Alzheimer's Association.
