Edward Gustavus "Gus" Black, age 64, formally of Frierson, La was born March 14,1958 in Leesville, La. He joined his heavenly father on January 22, 2023. Gus was preceded in death by his Grandfather Leon Washington Powell and father Rudolph Edward Black. He is survived by his Wife Donna Faye Black, Mother Mona Ruth Rutledge, two sisters, Sheila Ford and Sherry Rutldge, brother Colt Black, children Dallas Black and wife Melissa, Ruth Broom and husband Anthony, Tallion Woodward and wife Deanna, Tamara Woodward, Jessica Sandlin and husband Jason, Teesa Meeks and husband Paul, as well as numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Visitation will be held at Aulds Funeral home Thursday January 26, 2023 at 11:00 am with Services to follow at 1:00pm.
