Shreveport, LA - Edward A. Best II, died Sun. July 13, 2014.Services will be held on July17th at 10:00 A.M. at the NW LA Veterans Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wed July 16th from 6-8 P.M. at Aulds Funeral Home at 7849 E. Kings Hwy. Eddie was born on September 11, 1957 in Clarksburg, WV, and passed away on July 13, 2014 in Shreveport. Eddie served his country proudly in the US Army, serving in Korea from 1976-1978.After leaving the military, Eddie worked in the freight / delivery industry until his retirement Eddie was a beloved husband, father, son, brother, grandfather and friend.He was preceded in death by his father Daniel E. Best. Left to cherish his memory is his wife Kathy; mom, Nancy; sons, Wayne, Edward, and wife Mandy; Daniel and wife Holley; Stephen and wife Rebecca. Grandchildren; Faith, Kaiden, Cambri, Ashlann, Kollin, Jackson, Justyn, Bret and Sydney. Siblings; Patti and husband Richard, Terry and wife Linda, brother, Thomas, Jerry and wife Jennie, Joe and wife Kelly and sister, Ann Marie. Eddie is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and his loved companion Taz. Pallbearers will be Dewayne Ebarb, Trevor Ebarb, Don Lopez, Brandon Bradford, Ryan Best, and Tyler Best. Honorary Pallbearers will be David Reed, Mike Wroblewski, Ronnie Remedies, and Michael Lopez. The family would like to thank the entire staff at Heritage Manor West and the numerous Doctors and nurses at the Overton Brooks VA medical Center.
