Douglas Lee Allbritton was born on January 28, 1937, to Bernice and Prebble Allbritton.  His earthly life ended on September 4, 2022.

He was preceded in death by both of his parents.

Left to honor his life are his sons, Rusty Allbritton and wife, Sabra; Jerry Allbritton and wife, Tonya; and Gary Allbritton.

Doug also leaves behind his sister, Betty Jean Strange and brother, James (Jim) T. Allbritton as well as 5 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, and a host of friends.

Doug was a long-time avid fisherman and hunter.

A visitation and memorial service will be held in the chapel Saturday, September 17, 2022, at First Baptist Church Shreveport.  543 Ockley Drive, Shreveport, Louisiana 71106.  Visitation to be held at 1:00pm in the parlor.  Memorial Service to be held at 2:00pm in the Frost Chapel.
