IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Dorothy
Ross
September 7, 1929 – January 19, 2020
Dorothy H. Copple Ross, also known as "Mommom", was born on September 7th, 1929 in Little Rock, Arkansas. She took her final breath on January 19th, 2020 at the magnificent age of 90. Mommom enjoyed many things in life such as making dolls, reading and cooking. We all looked forward to indulging in her holiday cookies year after year! Mommom was a strong minded, caring woman who loved fiercely and had a heart of gold. She was a wonderful and loving sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great great grandmother and aunt.
She is preceded in death by her parents, brother, two sons, and her husband Richard Ross. She is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Bobby and Ginny Addison, her daughters Mindy, Denise, Lee, Angela, and Tina, as well numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and even great great grandchildren.
Mommom will be greatly missed every day. She always had a way to make your day brighter. We ask that you honor her life by extending kindness and love to those around you. Please, make that phone call to your loved ones whenever it crosses your mind because tomorrow is not promised. And always be kind, the smallest gestures can mean the most.
To all of Mommoms family, know that she loved us, no matter what. In spite of our faults and flaws, she loved us all. She would not want us to mourn her, but to celebrate her life. As she often said, "When it's our time, it's our time." She lived 90 years on this earth and was ready to go home to our Lord.
