Dorothy Jean Presley, age 90, passed away Thursday September 17, 2020 in Shreveport. She was born December 27, 1929 in Sugarland, TX to the late Peewee and Hazel (Cobb) Cunningham.

She was a very unique and outspoken lady. She loved her family very much.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Roger Presley, son Roddie Presley, and brother Johnny Cunningham.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughter Jean Ann Ross and husband Soupy, daughter-in-law Lorie Presley, sister Betty Ann Hobden and husband James, sister-in-law Mildred Presley; nieces Suzan Jean Colvin and Connie Jenkins; nephews John Cunningham and Gene Presley; grandchildren Lance Ryan, Jennifer Ross, Lacey Stone and husband Chad, Ashley Howard and husband E.J.; great-grandchildren Regan, Kelsee, Presley, Landen, Tony Ross, Kaleigh, Kaden and Carter Stone, and Conner Keragan Howard. A very special extra daughter Diane Jackson Graham.

Pallbearers will be Willie L. Jackson, John Cunningham, Herchel Cobb, Kaden Stone, Carter Stone, Tony Ross and Landen Ross. Honorary pallbearers will be Robert Jenkins and Jackie Roton.

Special thanks goes out to employees of Heritage Stratmore, especially Mengion, Marcus, Tracy and Thersa.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Presley will be 2 PM Monday, September 21, 2020 at the First Baptist Church of Blanchard. Visitation will be at 1 PM just before service time. Officiating the service will be Bro. Clay Fuqua and Bro. Dale Sauls. Burial will follow in the Blanchard City Cemetery.
