Obituary

Dorothy Sadler was born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and attended two years of collage before marrying Ronald F. D'Water, Sr. in 1958. Two children where soon to follow Ronald, Jr. in Dec. 1959 and Dorothy Jean in 1963. Dorothy's life was devoted to her family and church. When she was not attending services she served as a teacher in the Speacial Friends Sunday School Class at Waller Baptist Church for 10 years, and she sang in the choir. To support her family, Dorothy went to work at a Print Shop working a large camera and printing press. It was all new to her, but she loved it. She worked in the Printing Industry for 35 years. After retiring from Printing she went to work at Bossier City Court as a clerk for 10 years, where she found a second family. The ladies there treated her like a second mom or grandmother, and she loved them as well. She had pictures of family, and friends from Bossier City Court all over her room at home. Dorothy loved her sports. She was a devoted Dallas Cowboys Football fan from the 1970's to present. Dorothy followed tennis and golf, but never missed a Dallas game whether they were the NFL Champions or well even lately. :) Since that was about all Mom was into, I think she would be pleased that I intend to make a little of her remains a part of the new Cowboys Field. I have heard that the new stadium will have a retractable roof. I'm glad. Maybe Mom can look down and watch a game or two. That is if she can tear herself away from the Glory of the Lord, because I know Mom is a Christian. The Bible says in 2 Corinthiams 5 that Christians have an eternal house in heaven, and 2 Cor. 5:6 "... as long as we are at home in the body we are away from the Lord." Well, my mother is with the Lord now in His Glorious presence where there is no more pain or suffering, only Glory and Light and Peace and Perfection and Praise and His Holiness. If you see me, her daughter cry, it is only for one of two things: because I miss her or because I am thinking of all the wonderfull things she is experiencing right now, and I am so happy for her!
