Dorothy Patterson Antee Memorial services for Dorothy Patterson Antee will be held at 11am, Wednesday, May 14, 2008 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church. Officiating the mass will be Ft. Richard J. Lombard. Ms. Antee was received into heaven at dawn on Mother's Day, after passing peacefully in her sleep. Arrangements are under the direction of Aulds Funeral Home. She was born to the late Jessie Charline Killgore and William Samuel Patterson on August 28, 1949 in Shreveport, LA. Although she attended nursing school, Ms. Antee found her true calling with the births of her beloved daughters, Rebecca Antee Green, M.D., Cheron Antee Patterson and Jessica Antee. In addition to her daughters, she is survived by her sons-in-law, David Green, M.D. and Craig Patterson, M.D.; her brother, Wade Patterson; her dear friend, Martha Tyler, and the keepers of the keys to her heart, grandchildren Katelyn and Jackson Green; and Warren and Bennett Patterson. She was owner of Bluebird Paramedical Register, Inc., and was a talented artist in areas that included stained glass, quilting, cooking and gardening. Heaven will be even more beautiful now that she's there. The family requests that memorial gifts be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
