It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved Doris Thompson, who left this world on March 26, 2026, at the age of 94. Doris departed this life as she lived it-peacefully and surrounded by the love of her family.
Born on October 6, 1931, in the lush landscapes of Belize, Central America. Doris was the cherished daughter of Joseph and Felipe.
Doris is predeceased by her dear children Nimpha, John, Santiago, Kathleen, and Howard (affectionately known as Pete), and she carried their memories with her throughout her days.
As a devoted matriarch, Doris leaves behind a legacy of love and warmth that is carried on by her 24(+) grandchildren, 30(+) great grandchildren, 10(+) great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and a multitude of friends.
Doris had a profound love for gardening, finding peace and fulfillment in tending to her plants. She found beauty in every bloom and solace in watching the birds that visited her garden. These simple pleasures were a testament to her appreciation for life’s understanded wonders.
