Cherished mother and grandmother, sister, aunt and friend to many, Donnis Gayle Coleman, 81 passed away February 4, 2023 in Bossier City, LA following a brief illness. Donnis was born January 8, 1942 in Eudora, AR to Doris and Jessie Dea.

She is preceded in death by her husband Herman Coleman, son Donnie Sullivan, mother Doris Dea, father Jessie Dea, grandmother Frances Streetman, grandfather Jesse Harrison Streetment, brother Roy A. Dea.

She is survived by her sons Mark Lewis, Ronnie Sullivan; daughter and son-in-law Laura and Jimmy Vines; stepson and wife Tony and Julia Coleman; grandchildren Josh Piper, Donnis (Sissy) Piper, Jakob Lewis, Francesca (Frankie) DiLello, Melissa (Solon) Nussman, Tamela (Tim) White, Russell Flores, Shelly Flores; great grandchildren Alyssa, Ethan, Brody Lee, Jayden, Karley Ann; brother Payton Dea, sister Deborah D. Dea, numerous nieces and nephews, numerous great-nieces and nephews that loved their aunt, extended family Stacy Burns and Kelsey Craig. She loved her family and she will be loved and missed by all.

There will be a private family gathering Saturday February 11, 2023 from 2-4pm at Aulds Funeral Home Chapel in Shreveport, LA.
