Donna Marie Zilska, age 63, passed away peacefully on 28 April, 2020 from complications following a heart attack. She was born June 29th, 1956 in Detroit, Michigan of Dale Richard Rein and Rose Ann Rein (Duffy) she was the 3rd oldest of 6 children. Her siblings were Dale Robin, William Daniel, Dawn Renee (Secore), David Edward, and Darin Richard Rein. She was proceeded in death by her father, mother and brother David.

She grew up in Mt. Clemons and Harrison, Michigan. She went to Harrison High School and married David Micheal Griffin and had her first son named Jeremy Daniel Griffin (45). Donna was divorced and a couple years later married again, this time to Larry Eugene Zilska and she had her second son named after his father, Larry Eugene Zilska II (39).

Donna was a strong and determined woman who loved her family more than anything. She lived life to the fullest and was one of the kindest and genuine souls you would ever meet. She loved traveling, hiking, gardening and anything to do with nature. She was an amazing sister, mother, grandmother (Grammy) and friend to all. Of all her titles, Grammy was her favorite!

For many years Donna worked at Home Depot in Bossier City, Louisiana. She could always be found with the biggest smile on her face and going out of her way to help each and every customer. She loved people and her Home Depot family.

She was also a member of Simple Church and was baptized in the name of Lord in 2008. She served as a greeter and met everyone with a great big warm hug and her infectious smile. She was a living example of the Bilble verse, Hebrews 13:16 " And do not forget to do good and share with others, for with such sacrifices, God is pleased." She was constantly volunteering her time, whether it be family, friends, children or the elderly, she was always ready to serve others.

Donna is survived; by her oldest son Jeremy, his wife Christina and thier children Julia and Nathan, her youngest son Larry, his wife Kerri and thier children Hannah, Nathan and Jacob, her Ex-husband and best friend Larry, her older brothers Dale and Bill, her youngest brother Darin, and her younger sister Dawn. She also has countless nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Donna was cremated on 30 April 2020 and due to current travel restrictions, a celebration of life will be scheduled as soon as all family is available.
