Donis Dietrich Ruggieri, 58, left us on September 4, 2019 in her home in Shreveport, LA.

Donis was born on October 21, 1960 in San Diego, CA to John and Mary Dietrich. She was a retired nurse who had a love and dedication for helping people. Donis loved life and spending time with her family, swimming, playing, and watching movies with her sweet grandbabies. She loved and adored all of her grandchildren and her dogs.

Mrs. Ruggieri is survived by her older sister Darlene Dubois and younger brother John Dietrich II, her son and daughter and their spouses, Colby and Ashley Gillespie, Natalie Ruggieri and Cameron Peavy, four grandchildren, Azlyn and Isabelle Gillespie, Maci and Carter Peavy, her beloved dogs Dutchess, Todd, and Daisy, her best friend Brenda Christian, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
