We are deeply saddened to share the loss of Donald Louis Lopez, Sr, on May 18, 2026 in Shreveport, LA. He lived for 71 years and left behind memories that will forever remain in our hearts. He was born on December 10, 1954 to the union of Sam and Alma Mattie Norment Lopez in Shreveport, LA.

He was proceeded in death by his parents: Sam and Mattie Lopez; 2 brothers: Perry and Michael Lopez; daughter-in-law: Ashley Carter Lopez; and his uncle Tony Lopez.

He leaves to cherish his memories, son: DJ Lopez; stepdaughter: Veronica Welch; 2 grandsons: Brayden Lopez and Hunter Clarkston (Kailea Worsham); great grandson: Colton Clarkston; 3 brothers: Tony, Paul, and Carlos Lopez; 2 sisters: Annette Little and Sheila Adams; and a host of other family and friends.

As we say our final farewell to Don please join us for the memorial service honoring every chapter of his life from 1:00—3:00 p.m., May 27, 2026, at Aulds Funeral Home located at 7849 E. Kings Hwy, Shreveport, LA 71115.
